Baltic Coverage & Expansion

BalticTraffic is being developed as a regional vessel traffic platform built on proven operational experience from KlaipėdaTraffic.lt.

The goal is to expand live AIS coverage across Baltic ports and coastal areas through local stations, port cooperation, and shared regional visibility.

  • Shared live AIS map
  • Regional port and coastal coverage
  • Local station / node expansion
  • Future partner port integration

Coverage is expanding gradually. Additional ports and local stations may be added step by step.

Expanding Coverage & Collaboration

BalticTraffic is a regional vessel traffic platform built on real operational experience and proven AIS-based traffic monitoring methodology. The project is designed to expand live vessel visibility across Baltic ports and coastal areas while keeping the system simple, practical, and easy to deploy.

In addition to the web platform, live AIS data streams can be provided for integration with navigation software or other maritime systems where needed. We are open to collaboration with:

  • ports or organizations interested in extending live AIS coverage
  • companies seeking a dedicated locally deployed AIS setup
  • stakeholders who want a custom vessel traffic website, public or closed-access
  • partners interested in live AIS data streams for operational or research use
  • future local node partners in Baltic coastal locations

Important Notice

BalticTraffic is an experimental vessel traffic visibility platform.

For mariners: Always use official navigation systems, charts, and certified onboard information as primary sources.
